Kelly Lynn Richards sees a photograph in everything.
She has been around photography since she was a little girl watching her dad develop his photos in his darkroom in her childhood home. She started in high school learning on Canon AE-1 and Pentax K1000 film cameras and continued learning beyond high school at Crealdé School of Art. Kelly worked as a photographer assistant for the staff photographer at Valencia Community College (now Valencia College). She gravitates towards a photojournalistic style of photography using film and digital as her medium. Her work has been shown in a few local galleries such as City Arts Factory and Alice & William Jenkins Gallery at Crealdé School of Art. Kelly is constantly out photographing anything that moves her and captures her passion.
